I was finally able to get my hands on some white embossing power, and try the chalkboard technique I saw over on Betsy's Blog and here on Nicole's blog. Be sure to try it out! It is a lot of fun! You just need some white embossing powder, a VersaMark pad, some white ink, a sponge, and whichever stamps you wish to use. I keep forgetting to get myself a white colored pencil, which makes this technique even cooler....someday I will remember to pick one up LOL.

I have tried, and tried again, to use Mister Huey's color mists for awhile now. I recently found a great tutorial and was finally able to make something with the help of Nicole over at Studio Calico. I was so inspired by the colors in this weeks Tuesday Trigger and love that I was able to replicate them in this project. Be sure to visit Moxie Fab World to see what others have created and join in the fun!

To make the fun frame on this birthday card I used the Hero Arts tweed stamp and stamped it on vintage cream cardstock. Then I cut it out using the Polaroid looking die from the Fabulous Frames Die collection.

Hello March! February sure was a CRAZY month. My friend got married in Tennessee and I spent a week there last month helping her with wedding things. It was SO nice to see her and another friend of mine, who lives in Florida. They live too far away! The wedding went wonderfully, the venue was beautiful and the bride and groom couldn't have been happier. We were surprised with a little snow while we were outside taking photos, it was cold! When I got back from my trip I got really sick from lack of sleep.
Here is a fun card using some arrow stamps and the fun ombre look. This is a birthday card for my sister-in-law who is away at collage so the "sending smiles across the miles" sentiment really fits.
The sentiment is from the Avocado Arts Hello Friends stamp set.
Just wanted to share a few images from my friends wedding.
The photographer did a wonderful job capturing Rebekah and Quinton's perfect day.
