Sunshine Blogger Award

The ladies at Contagiously Crafty surprised me with the Sunshine Blogger Award! Andie & Brandy are two sweet ladies who share a blog. They have lovely projects so be sure to check it out! Thanks so much ladies for thinking of me and my little blog, and thank you for your sweet comments you leave on my posts.

The Sunshine Blogger Award is a little like a chain letter, but a lot more fun.
The idea is that when you receive the award you answer ten questions about yourself
and then give the award to ten blogs that you frequent the most.
Here are the rules as Andie & Brandy relayed them:

1.  Include award logo in blog post.
2. Thank the blogger who gave it to you and include a link back to them.
3. Answer 10 questions about yourself, that you have made up yourself.
4. Nominate 10-12 bloggers and contact them at their blog site to inform them.

Question 1.  What do you enjoy most about crafting?
I love it when my "creative juices" start flowing and a project comes together perfectly. Then I smile when the project is finished and pretty. :)

Question 2. Why did you start up your blog?
I wanted to share my projects with others and inspire them. I love making my own home decor and I love the look of burlap! I wanted my blog to be unique so I decided to share different burlap projects each month.
Question 3. What are your favorite blogs?
I love Jinny's blog-Soaring. Her creations are just wonderful, and she is such a sweetheart. Other favorites are...http://scrapbookgirl.typepad.com/
http://dawnmcvey.typepad.com/

Question 4. What paper crafting tool couldn't you live without?
I could not live without my paper trimmer....I don't know about you but if I had to cut in a straight line by hand I would loose it! Ha! I also couldn't live without my Tombow adhesive.

Question 5. Where do you get your Inspiration?
Pinterest! What a wonderful site! I love that I don't have to save all those pictures on my computer.

Question 6. What do you listen to while crafting?
I love music! I HAVE to have music playing while im crafting or I cannot focus. I either have my Ipod playing or Spotify. Some artist I love are Jars of Clay, Owl City, Relient K, and Switchfoot. Right now my favorite is All Sons and Daughters!

Question 7. What are your favorite crafting brands?
October Afternoon, Stampin Up, Papertrey Ink, Crate Paper.

Question 8. What is on my scrapbooking wish list?
The Cinch, and lots of Papertrey Ink and Stampin Up items.

Question 9. What are you crafting goals for 2013?
I want to work on making video tutorials and learning how to use my sewing machine. Those are two things that will take lots of practice, but im am excited for the end results.

Question 10. What is one crafting product you will probably never use?
Copics. They are so expensive and I cannot shade and blend colors to save my life...LOL

  2. Stephanie- It was so nice to hear all these little details about you. I have loved your blog from the first post I read with your burlap projects being so inspirational. You are truly a ray of sunshine to me as I check your posts. I'll look forward to 2013 and the tutorials. There's nothing quite like a new technique and the instructions to go with it.
